Supercab Cab Mounts?

Supercab Cab Mounts?
Hi all, greetings from sunny Queensland! (Australia) . I am still trying to chase up a decent 74-79 supercab cab and interior from around the California area to import to Oz, but I have a question..... Does the supercab cab fit onto the same 2wd chassis that I have here (76 long wheelbase)? Or do the mounts need to be moved on the chassis? Any info (or pics, as i have never seen one in the flesh) at all is greatly appreciated. Long live the F-Truck!!!!

as you can see in the top pic i had to add a one inch lift to the front of the cab, but i was able to reuse the stock mounts in the front.just by using a longer bolt.
the problem that you will incounter is that the frame on a std cab rises right after the the cab. making the body sit nose down on the frame. so i cut some excess metal off of the bottom of the cab and put it as low as possible to the rear frame rails. approx 3/8 of an inch. then went to the junk yard and picked up some body mounts off of a super cab frame. because the stock std cab bolts to a cross member on the inside of the frame. the new super cab body mounts to the outside of the frame. with a little mod i made some new rear mounts as you can see in the bottom pic. the thing that i dont know i how the stock bed and stock core support will align? on my truck i changed the front clip to a 96 f150 body style, so i have a compleatly diffrent core support, and the bed is just the skins of a stock bed(i threw the bed away) this whole process was alot of work, but it paid off. because i have a 73 super cab that ford didnt even offer.
i hoped this helped

Mate that is awesome! Thanks for the tips! How did you line up the steering shaft after you had lifted the cab? I don't know about the steering columns that you have in US, but here we have a solid (though collapsible, non-tilt) column, with a flexible coupling at the steering box end. If you lift the cab straight up, this coupling doesn't line up, and if you tilt the column, there seems to be a lot of load placed on the flexible coupling. Any pics of the finished product? Thanks for your help!
