5.4L 04 F250 vs 04 f150 5.4L

I'm looking at a 2004 f-250 (date-1/04) with a 5.4L, would that be the same motor as the 04 5.4 3v triton? Just sold my 04 150 supercrew, It looked good , but It was'nt the fastest thing around! I was also wondering if it had that electronic gas pedal delay like my 150? How dose the 250 5.4 run?

actually in 04 I believe and correct me if I'm wrong ( I have been before ) but they still used the 2v motor . i know this because we have one at work. If you want that same engine in a bigger truck than i would suggest getting an 05+

How dose that one at your work run? I'm not looking for the 3v, I just like this 04 I'm looking at all white xlt with sport pkg, all whited out, bumpers and handles, grille, f250 4 door short bed with the black leather and carbon fiber interior, it's nice, super low miles. just wondering how the 5.4 is in it?

Oh she runs like a champ .. i love that truck if i had the money I'd be trading my 06' f150 with a 4.6 for one of those.. we've pulled skid-steers, tractors nearly everything but the back-hoe get it i promise you wont be dissapointed it sounds like a good deal to me

I have a 2004 F250 5.4. This year truck was only offered with the 2V. The F250/350 did not get the 3V until 2005, one year after the F150. I am satisfied with my 2V. From what I have seen, both engines have the same torque until about 3000 rpm, then the 3V makes more torque from there on up. Philip
