Thumbs up 59T 7006 Transmissions available 4spd synch

I went out and looked at the transmission listed on ebay. Paul has quite a few of these 4 speed synch trannies his dad collected. As we know these transmissions are nearly indestructable. Many of his still have the parking drum and disk on them as well. He is looking to sell them so if some one is interested, I can load them on a pallet or whatever for shipping.

He is a good guy to deal with.

He has some other stuff as well for flatheads, but I was not dressed warm enought to check it all out. Next week I will do a better job.

59T 7006 is the four speed spur gear transmission, not syncro. I think they are Warner T9's. I have acquired three of them for spare parts. They come up on ebay often and usually go unsold at $25. I bought two for $20 last summer. I was hoping one would have the hogshead bellhousing adapter that is much in demand for mating a T5 to a flathead. That part is worth more than the transmission.

I may have the bearing retainer/mount you are looking for but I have all my spare parts in storage about 200 mi away (I'm moving). I'll be passing by there in a week or so and if you still need one send me an email.

T-98 are syncroed and bolt up to Flatties. Got one from Chuck at Chuck's Trucks. They line up to the cross member too. Love that Syncro!!!

Thanks for the confirmation guys. I was thinking that 59T prefix sounded like the early crash box.

If the weather thaws out enough Kevin and he'll let you, a look in the gearbox will tell for sure if they have bevelled gears (////)or straight cut spur gears (llll) on 2,3 and 4
1st and Rev are still spur gears.
