I'm located in the New Haven area and I can't find anywhere to take a truck offroad. I have been riding dirt bikes for years and its very hard to even ride those legally in the state. I can't even imagine trying to take a fullsize truck offroad in CT without being hassled.

I know of quite a few trails located in the higguanum haddam area, no one cares if you are on them either.
