Whats the differance between 4X4, Off Road, and FX4?

My 02 is the "4x4 Offroad edition" the somewhat equivalant of the Fx4. In 02 the options were,
Steel skid plates on the fuel tank
Steel skid plate on the transfer case
Steering stabilizer
Shocks-long gone
ESOF
Limited Slip 3:73 rearend
All terrain tires
Stickers
Interior, everything but leather and the trip-meter compass

On my 350 where it says 4X4, underneath it says XTR offroad or something like that. I know it has xtr in it.

huh, I've never seen a super duty XTR, oh and where are people getting that the FX4's have plastic skid plates? Went and checked mine on my 03 FX4 and they are steel
