Anyone have the wiring pinout for 2001 Ford F150? I am trying to wirie up my third brake light on the cap?

Also, the truck cap is rubbing the top of the cab - will this affect the trucks paint?

Rub the paint? Yes it will sand the paint down. The third brake light is a dead ended wire on the driver's side frame rail back by the spare tire. Look for a wire pulled out of the bundle and taped back against the harness just before the trailer and brake light harness assembly plug in the rear mian chassis harness. Just look around back there above the spare at the rear bumper and you will find it.
