Did the bolts looses up at the u-joint on the rear axle? or did the suspention over-flex and the splined side popped out? What did you do?

I was accelerating out of a drive way to over take a car in a safe matter and, my truck started shakeing i was able to get into the town but the shaft droped from the axle and sat on the ground so I think to bolts lossend off.

you should save some money and buy a used drive shaft and some loctite instead of having the dealer sell you a new one. There is nothing to wear out on the shaft except for some u-joints. It is very easy to install.
