Question Pioneer AVIC-Z1 and 2006 F-350

Hey all,
I am thinking about getting the pioneer AVIC-Z1 for my 2006 6.0L F-350. I was wondering if anyone else has this setup and how hard it was to install? Thanks for your input!

I just had that HU installed with all the bells and whistles- Sirius, Bluetooth, Ipod, CD/DVD Changer, and mic/speaker capability.

I also had a two 10L7s and two Kicker amps along with Boston Acoustic Pro's installed.

This all went into my new '06 4x4 PSD. Everything works flawlessly. I had my installer bypass the DVD brake feature so I could control the navi and watch DVD while driving.

My guy has built two magazine cover/music video show trucks for me in the past so that's why he did the bypass mod. Most shops were not willing to do it on a Z1.

I just had one installed on my 06 F350, but had the store install it to save me the headaches. I have only had it in a couple of days but love it.

SpeedJunky, do you know how we bypassed it? I was told if I turn my lights on and off three times it will do it, but I don't want to have to resort to that everytime.

Sorry, I have no technical knowledge/ability whatsoever. All I know is that he made it work.

I installed a Pioneer Z1, bluetooth, ipod adapter, and bypass circuit into my 2000 Expy a few months ago. Installation is easy. The only tough part was finding the VSS wire. I love my Z1. It has so many cool features and is easy to use. I paid $1600 for everything on ebay.
