Hi Dave,
Most all of this can be found in the Ford Truck Shop Manual covering '58. The book should specify 95-105 ft.lbs. for main cap torque specs; if not, use that rather than the book listing.
It's not a good idea to use different specs (I figure that wuz a joke anyway about the SBC- perish the thought ) but in a pinch, you can use the standard SAE torque spec chart for U.S bolt diameters & threads. It's usually close to or the same as the factory spec, at least for engines up to the mid '80s. After that you get into torque-to-yield fasteners, bolt clocking, & other squirrely crap.
