4.0 tranny fits the 3.0 truck?
I have an 04' ranger with a bad tranny. I keep finding the 5r55e trans from the 4.0 but no 5r44e trannys from the 3.0. Can they be swapped?

The bellhousing patterns are different and they won't interchange between engines.
