I hate to add a topic on busy subj., but I can't seem to locate one describing the same problem. I could probably search further (many pages), but I decided to just list my problem.

I noticed this morning that my window kind of starts down and then clicks a few times. It doesn't do it consistentley. Also, I noticed that it stopped going up and was able to keep going when I gave it some help. I am assuming that the motor is bad, but checking with others before buying a motor.

One additional bit of info.... When the window is all the way up, you can still press the switch and the motor (I guess that's the sound I hear) is still turning.

 

Pull the door panel off and see if it's binding up anywhere.

 

I didn't have a chance to check last weekend, so I will this weekend. Does this happen a lot? Also, I thought you couldn't really that area very well. How can you determine whether it is binding up somewhere?
