Dash speaker grille

Would there have been a dash speaker grille in a truck that came from the factory without a radio? 61-66
Thanks

Yup, it makes sense that it would be, so how about the antenna hole in the cowl? Would there be one in a non radio equip truck? Thats where the hole is on my 63, looks factory.

Nope, no way! I just parted a 63 w/o radio. Kept the dash, has no radio hole, and no holes on top of dash. My 61 has a speaker grille, but the holes under it were clearly drilled in by somebody installing a radio for the first time. Same with antenna hole, no radio-no hole.

Well, I have to dissagree with you guys...I have a factory radio delete w/dash pad and have seen non padded dash delete jobs....the dash itself is punched for the for the grille less the 4 screw holes...it only has the slots comprising the grille area. Also the antenna hole isnt knocked out as my antenna(added yrs later) was put on the left which we all know isnt correct and my right cowl is totally intact. No grille on radio delete trucks!!!!! If you have a dashpad, no holes whatsoever period as the pad hole is about 3X4".

Hope this solves the confusion 65CS
