Another question, how hard is it to replace both the slave and master cylinder? How do you know if it's time to replace them?

The slave is super easy. 1/4 turn to disengage and pull it out. Same deal for the master, but it can be difficult getting it seperated from the clutch pedal. 30 minute job when it goes right.

You'll know it when it's time........when they fail it is not subtle.

you need to get a hold of dale isley at tymar performance and go by and see him. local guy for you that sells everything for your truck. very standup guy that will talk your psd ear off.
