I have an MP3 of that song burned to a cd... played it for a girl who I drove home the other night - she laughed at the first line, then after that I think I pretty much ensured she wouldn't go out with me (and my truck) again.

What did I do wrong?!

(note to self: don't play song for college girls who attend a university that brainwashes the harder-core aspects of feminism into them - they lose their sense of humor...)

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 14-Dec-02 AT 05:38 AM (EST)]When you get rid of a lousy truck that wasn't working right, you don't have to give it half your stuff and pay the maintenance bills while it sits on the car lot waiting for someone else to assume financial responsibility. My advice, trade 'em in early before they are all banged up and looking like a fixer upper.

 

great replays guy's I think I might print this thread out and give to my Girl Friend next time we have a spat about somthing dumb, I don't mind the fight's about important stuff, but when she gets mad that I wanna work on my truck all weekend long for just 1 weekend a month dosn't make sense to me, I have a shop I can use but have to be cleared out by Monday morning and seems sometime's I spend more time chasing around for parts/tools from home, than I due working on the truck so when I due work on it I want to maxiumize my time there working on it,
