Looks like we have the bounce taken care of. Friday night I took 1st at Smithton Pa. Made fuel money to go to the Stoneboro Pa DHRA pull . Needless to say I'm very happy with a 6th place finish in Street with the amount of competition at a DHRA event.

The clutch seemed to be the problem all along. No vids from this weekend, I've got one from Mercer-Grange Pa. I'll get it uploaded and post a link.

Hey glad to hear about your win. Oh and I got my clutch from Larry in less than 24 hrs. somehow. It should be going in the truck tonight sometime tonight at my buds garage. Thanks again Larry was great help.

That last video you can really see the difference on getting the bouncing cleared up compared to the earlier ones.

 

Kiwk we put the clutch in last sat. Got it at 10 am and had the truck loaded at 12:30 to go to a pull. We've had 4 hooks since and no bounce.

do you still have a double-disc clutch? what kind is it now?

 

I had the South Bend rebuilt. Works like a champ. Yes still a twin.

Same here. I never would have thought the clutch would be the cause.
