These machines are easy to use tools designed to flush the cooling system, clean your old coolant, and fill the vehicle with rejuvenated coolant. This method also reduces the amount of waste antifreeze that must be disposed of. During a cooling system flush, the old coolant is removed from the vehicle into the recycling machine, and then water is forced throughout the system and drained. Next, the old coolant in the machine is filtered and a technician tests it for its strength (freezing point) and its PH balance. Have you guys every had this done? How did it work?

 

My dad had it done on his 98 Expedition and it didn't cause any problems. He had it done right before the winter began. The water pump lubricant actually quieted a small squeal coming from his water pump.
