i bought my truck on monday, and on saturday my check engine light was on.
i went to the parts store and read my codes. it was an "egr flow". i know it's under warranty, but do you thing that this is a sign that its a lemon. its an '04 lightning with less than 11k miles. i cleared the code, and it hasn't come on "yet"
should i worry?

 

No where near enough info to ascertain if you have a lemon or not.

i got a 01 f150 that had the p104 code which is insufficent air flow. i changed the dpfe sensor and that didnt work. then i took the the throttle body off and cleaned the channels to the egr valve of carbon buildup and that worked.

 

the code is PO402 egr flow excessive

 

Take it to a Ford dealership to have your DPFE replaced under warranty.

This is just a simple emissions part that has been crap on Fords for years. The newest version is much improved.
