Anyone out there know if there is a code on the door plate that tells if its a trailer special? Also are they that desirable? Thx

 

Not an expert here on these, but I think you mean the Camper Special, I haven't heard of a "trailer special" (but there was prob a tow package available). Anyway, I had a Camper Special I parted out years ago and it was equipped with front and rear sway bars, so just look underneath. The CS is desirable also for the HD options, like cooling package. What else is different, I'm sure will be answered soon.

 

No there isn't special code denoting a Trailer special.
Just the badging like a camper special

My 75 is a Supercab Trailer Special.I,ll check the original paper work my dad bought it new.

But,as per his question
No, There is NOT a code on the rating plate denoting a T/S.

Here are the 2 listed packages as promised.

 

Just found the order form when my dad orderd the truck $6096.13 .He had to put down$140.26 deposit.Cruise control was $90.62.That was some nice info on T/S Dennis

 

I had a `75 Trailer Special,it had Dual Batteries and a little emblem on the fender that looked like the outline of the United States and said "Trailer Special".That is all I know for sure about it.
