I stuck mine on the hump above the axel. The way I checked it was that I know there is smoke coming out of the tube. OK. Stuck it in and the exhaust becomes slightly cloudy. Also there are no leaks in the oil pan like when I got the orientation of the pipe in the exhaust wrong. Also when I used a valve like the moroso unit, I was always getting the impression it placed a slight restriction on the tube.

fat diesel and rampage, or any one else that ran there ccv into the exhaust. It looks as if you used brass or copper pipe, was this to disapate heat fast enough so it would not reach the hose? I am planning on running my ccv into the exhaust in the future and was thinking about the heat and if it would be enough to melt the hose.

No oil in build up in the intake. Putting it in the exhaust eliminates everyone asking why your truck is smoking from wherever you dead end the hose. I haven't been able to find a great way to cross the hose over to the other side of the truck underneath. My exhaust exits in front of the rear tire.
