So I'm in the process of swapping steering columns since I recently put in a C6 vs the 435. I wanted to do the column shifter gig, so I picked up a column from a 2wd 78 truck that was local and was told that I could just swap out the shafts to make it work.

(My current steering shaft into this column, since this shaft is obviously too short, as well being one piece.)

The search I did said that the columns are identical, Google was no help, and I can't figure out how to remove the shaft from this column, and I'm hoping someone has that information.

Truck is a 78 Ford bronco, and this shaft came from a 78 F series.
