Swap Number 8AE for number 6AD to track my contribution code?
Ive got a 2001 7.3. I have a contribution code for cylinder number 8. I know the mysteries behind number 8 and that code but I can feel a misfire in the truck so i know its actually a problem not just a cps, which i have the newest blue one installed.
My question is can i take number 8 and put it in say number 6 location and 6 into 8's and run another test to rule out the injector being a problem? Ive heard some people say it needs tuning to run an AD into number 8 but Ive also heard you don't so i just wanted to make sure this wont hurt anything if i do it.
