Body style question
I have a 66 F100 4x2 and a 65 F100 4x4. The 65 has the old style 61+style bed. I was under the impression that a bed from a 66 F100 would not match up on the 65 F100 4x4 frame. I was just looking at some of the rigs in the gallery and there are a couple of 65 4x4's that seem to have the newer style bed. Aligning bolt holes or drilling new ones would be no problem (did that before) but I thought the rear wheels would not line up correctly with the wheel wells. Oh wizards of the slick world help this confused student become enlightened.

There F100s LOL.
All kidding aside typically the beds will mount up with redrilling of the frame holes and some cribbing. With 65 F100 and 65 66 F250 typically the axle is relocated to the wheel well opening. it is the lesser of the two evils.
12 grade eight bolts and a drive shaft cut verses all that body work.

A 65 66 cab as far as i can tell form the swaps i have done will not fit due to the interference with the frame. Just after the front crossmember the frame on a 65 66 dropps to accomidate the lower floor of the cabs.
On the earlier cabs the frame does not do this and the floors will hit the frame.
I have never retroed a later cab on to an early frame, always the other way early cab on to later frame.
I think it will have interference issues.

I almost had myself convinved that the older style bed was workable only because I thought that was my only option. ("I cant weld so I have to live with it"). I completely agree with jowilkers assessment of the situation. I am all for history (love the 50's and 60's) but the bed was going to be tough to live with.
