I apologize for my ignorance, however I am frustrated with my '97 Ranger's 3.0 running high and loud. The noise is like a loud wooshing and unfortunately I don't have a tach so I don't know what kind of rev's its been running. I'm just thinking there's a simple intake problem causing this, but i've never been able to figure out what it is. Much appreciated.
