67-72 f250?

I was looking at an f250 I think its a 71 or 72, that is forsale locally. It runs good 390 4spd 4x4. The body is fair needs attention in the usual places. Does $250 sound like a fair price? He thinks he can get the title, but its not definite.

Thanks, Jason

If you want it for more than a parts truck, make sure he can get the title before you buy it.
As long as the cab mounts are ok, and the bed is fixable, it sounds like a decent deal.

I know I can get another truck cheap w/ a good title and make one good truck. So that isn't an issue. I was just looking to findout if it was a decent deal. Granted you guys can't see it.

Sounds like a good deal, but I am pretty sure that all of those 4X4s were 360 from the factory. Only 2WD was available with 390. Only way to tell the difference is to pull a plug and measure the stroke or, if it is the original engine, check the VIN.

You would give close to that for just the transfer case around here.

For $250 I'd take it.
running and drivable for $250. Don't think you can beat that. The running motor alone is probably worth that much.

I say go for it. These are great trucks. If you are not going to buy it, I would be very interested in it. I am looking for a parts truck for my f250 highboy (frame mostly)
PM me if you aren't going to buy it. Thanks
