Rear axle identification

Hi,

I believe that the 01TA-SA is really D1TA-SA. D= 1970's, 1= year. The axle is a 1971 truck in 4:10 gears. The 603196-11 is what's refered to as the BIll of Materials number.

Do you have something like C-30255 60 cast into the housing of the diff?

My bet is that it's a Dana 60.

Hope this helps,
Lee
