Mil1ion isn't around these parts any more, so I don't think he'll reply.

I found the generic vin decoders worked fine for the VIN's on my 70's trucks, I think there is a link in the 1973-79 forum? I can't tell what year that VIN plate is from, but I'd start in that specific forum. NumberDummy is probably the best user to seek out. Good luck.

Thanks, I've been all over the place on line and no luck on this one.

What year is your truck Chris?

I have the paint codes for 1965 Ford and Mercury pickups and TT is Dynasty Green, one solid colour. If the truck was Tu-Tone with Wimbledon White and Dynasty Green, the code would be UT.

I'm assuming that this code applied to older trucks, but not 100% sure on that. If your truck is older than '65, I would post your Warrenty Plate in the '61 -'66 Forum, just in case I am wrong on this.

Hey Dan, my truck is a 61. I made a post in a more suitable section (61-65) and another member mentioned that the 1TT paint code is "garden turquoise".
Could this be the differences between a US and CAD built truck or perhaps the difference in years?

Nice looking truck, kinda wish I had a Uni too, but 1 slick is enough! I don't know much about paint colours other than for the 1965. There are some unique Canadian colours, like Twilight Turquouse, found on my truck.

I figure that the TT code just got reused, maybe other codes did too.
