Tymar HPX.

Over the weekend I installed the High Pressure Crossover on the '97. so far it seems to idle quieter, starts are a lil less knocky, and general cuising seems quieter.

Instructions were included, very straight forward and simple. as was the install, hardest part was I had to remove my WIF sensor, but it wasn't hooked up anyway.... so If you were ever on the fence about it, go for it. for the $33 I think I spent on it I give it two thumbs up.

I was just noticing today how loud my rig is at idleing and when shes cold. Some of that is the need for new injectors.Where did you get the Xover for $33?

I had zero luck with the flexible HPX lines. Blew both of the ones I tried at the crimp. Switched to a hard line with aircraft style compression fittings and haven't had a problem since.

I removed it to see if I could tell the difference.......well, it was back on in a quick hurry!
Ain't that the truth. For the relatively small change it brings about....you definitely notice when it's gone.

So what does the X-over line do for you anyway?

well folks I totaly forgot I had this going over here.... I think it was $33, maybe $35, but it wasn't over $40.

Cookie it is interesting that you had two of them blow, as far as I can tell it is just a factory HPO line, with the 45º fittings so it should last as long as the stock lines.

What I notice most is a quieter idle, cruise seems just as loud now, but my oil is REALY OLD. PM me if any of you want the number to Tymar Performance, his website is under constuction.
