79 Bench Seat cover vinyl fabric availability in RED
So I pulled off the "mexican" styled seat cover and of course discovered the bench seat covered in duct tape on the drivers side.....Is the original seat seat cover fabric or even better a new pre made cover available for purchase? If so where or who sells this product?

I'm not sure that's the original cover, the panel pattern looks correct, but I've never seen that vinyl before. it resembles the comfort weave but it's not. original or not you're not going to find it anywhere it's unobtainium.
You can look at the vendors and see that you like best , but the options are surprisingly limited.

Single best supplier of OEM auto fabrics. They have original and reproduction. If you don't see it on their website, contact them with your interior trim code and close up pics of the pattern. they have a lot that's not on their website.

I think comfort weave was actually woven, right? This is an embossed vinyl, rear bench in my supercab is same pattern as this in brown. Looks like sms has at least had it in the past.

Yes comfort weave is a woven vinyl. it was very popular and most Ranger trim levels had it. it was optional in the Custom.
Even if I could find NOS vinyl I wouldn't spend the money on it and the big money having a custom cover made from it unless I was doing a conquers trailer queen restoration. after all it's 50 year old plastic, and plastic doesn't get better with age. just like buying 50 year old tires, it's all cool as long as you don't use them.
