Ive got an 02 f150 that came with a 6 disc cd changer in the console, and an alpine head unit (9827) thats coming out of another car I had. Does anyone know if this H.U. is capable of running the stock changer?

The real draw for me is that Ive also got a pair of 10's Id like to stash under the back seats, and I dont know that the stock (tape only) h.u. can run them like the alpine can.

Check with your local stereo dealer like Car Toys. They may have a pre-made harness that will just plug in and you are set.

As for the 10's for the rear....if you really want them..go aftermarket.
