Just wondering if anyone has tried one of these tuners yet? I am looking for a tuner for my 05 5.4. How do these compare to the others on the market?

Pretty tough to beat the Diablo Predator when it comes down all-around usefulness.

Unlike the others you don't need to mail the tuner back to the mfger for updates, custom tunes, ect. It can all be done via the web. Really handy if you have to have your PCM updated at the dealership for what ever reason.

I just wish mine would hurry up and get here, still waiting on mine.

 

that edge chip doesn't belong in this forum. its for 03 and earlier motors, this is an 04 and up forum

the fuego is supposed to give more options than a diablo, load in approx 2 min, be able to update like the diablo, of course thats all what granatelli had to say.

Your wrong the edge is ready to ship for 2004 to 2006 F-150 I will be getting one. I have the diablo predator and have been happy with but only on the 91 tune with the edge you get 54 hp on 87 oct

 

Thats correct about the Edge. It is being reliesed this week. I have had the Diablo and superchips but I cant wait for this thing to arrive on my doorstep. Updatable from internet plus 19 different perameters that this thing moniters. You can display 4 at a time so it acts like a set of guages. plus tunes for low grade gas and high grade gas performance and tow performance tunes. I have read an extensive amount on this unit and I am sold

 

Where can I find the info on the new edge programmer?

I wouldn't touch one with a 10 foot pole. Its a rip-off of Diablo's design, down to them making a mold of the unique plastic casing. There's a court case going on between the two of them right now and I'd be wary of buying a product which may not have support or even exist soon.

 

No tuner is going to give 54HP on a naturally aspirated gas engine - its hype. One of my companies sells Edge products, so this is not said to slam them, its based on years of experience. As to the parameters, its not revolutionary... Diablo and SCT have been doing this for a while.

 

This is what i have been reading at the other site (you know which one i am speaking of the ) with 4 beta testers trying out the edge for the last month + would please go take a look at the post just search Edge
