I'm looking to upgrade my rim and tire size. I am wondering what size aftermarket wheels I can put on my truck. Any comment would be great.

 

16 X 7 Cragar 441. on a 68 LWB 2WD. Chromed steel, Looks great!

Check out my gallery. Those are 16" Micky Thompson "sloted" mags with LT285/75R16 tires, which are 33" tall. I don't think a larger diameter tire will work without cutting the fender.

 

Darkwolf, are those wheels available new? I want some for my truck. Those are nice.

 

I bought those wheels new about a year ago. I suppose you can get them anywhere they sell Micky Thompsons. I like them them because they look right for a 60's vehicle. I had to order them when I got them and it seemed like it took about 3 months to get them.

 

i'm going to run my stock steelies painted mint green to match my interior and my two tone paint with diamond back wide white walls, and some cool spider caps or other old vintage caps....i like the old school look. just my personal taste.
