Wink Buying a new F150 in Ontario... Discounts? Programs? Preferred Dealers?

Ok guys, its truck buying time for me. I am about to lose my mind. The options, the dollars and cents, all of it. I love the trucks though and somehow I must endure.

I was looking at getting a 2004, but after weighing out paying the interest and everything of getting one, I have been looking into buying new, even if it costs me a little bit more money.

Does anyone know of any programs or anything?

My wife is eligable for a graduate discount.

I saw there was a first time buyer program, not sure what that is all about or if I save any money with that.

Someone said there was a loyalty discount as well, save 1,000 if you are currently driving a Ford. Don't know if that is an extra 1,000 on a trade in or not.

Anyone know of anything else?

Anyone have a preferred dealer? Holiday Ford is here in Peterborough, but Im not sure they will make me the best deal and they don't have what I am looking for at the moment.

Im willing to go anywhere to buy really as long as I save money, I have no loyalties.

I hoping to pull the trigger between Christmas and New Years. I have been told that it is a good time to negotiate because dealers want as little stock as possible heading into the new year, not sure how true that is though.

I was thinking there was a guy on the board who was a Ford Dealer in TO or somewhere, is that the case or have I lost my mind?

THANKS!

Matt

Do you have a CAA membership? Some dealers are on their discount program.
This may be the salesman/dealership you were thinking about...Van Bartel Ford......Read this... https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=217560

Just send me your money and I'll buy myself a new truck. Or better yet, we'll share it with all the other Ontario FTE'rs. That will help save you the trouble of losing your mind.

If I was you,I would think I could get a better deal in February..... like usual.

Dealerships are starving at that time

If I don't pull the trigger in the next week I will be waiting until then, unless a really good deal on a used one comes along...

Are there usually some incentive programs come along in February?

I read in another thread you got a 2004 F-150. And you didn't update us? That is going to cost you $3000 cash! I will be watching that thread closely too!

Congratulations on the new ride!
