Urgent help Need coil spring bushing..Cant find part....
I replaced the coil springs on my 1990 F150 4.9L e4od...
I am trying to find the plastic bushing that goes in between the bottom of the coil spring and the spring seat....the original ones are made out of plastic and have just about fallen apart...Does anyone know where I can find replacements or even upgraded ones??? The original part number from ford is (N803075-S)
I have been calling all over and cannot find it anywhere...They cant even tell me what size Isolator will fit...The part has been obsoleted...PLEASE HELP>>>
My truck sounds like a bunch of chipmunks going down the road...
Does anyone Know what size will fit??? Or where I can find them???
I would have measured the old ones but theres not much there left...

Dealer should be able to get one for you??? I kid you not, sometimes the part # is discontinued, and made under a new # for later years.
Tell em you need the bushing for a 1996 F150, and maybe they will have a new part #, and find it for you. I have done that before when I knew a later model truck's parts would work when they couldn't find it for mine.
Man, that same spacer was used on Ford F150s for 16 years, and Explorers and Rangers too. I find it hard to believe that the dealer can't find one.

I asked them if any other numbers superceeds it but there where none...
I thought about getting some from a junkyard but they more than likely would be in the same shape ...I called energy suspension with no luck there...I also called
obsolete ford parts and they told me the same thing that the part was no longer available...Green sales and vintage told me the same thing...
I cant believe that no one carries the orignal or even a replacement for them...
If I new what the measurements where for I.D. and O.D and the hieght I might try to find something close that wil fit.
