Any ideas guys? this is for a friend in a '99 150 with the 5.4 she has just taken it to the dealer before so she doesnt know what they actually did. Trying to save her some time and money?


on a side note her AC has stopped working too i havent even looked at any of teh basics yet but is tehre anything i should check?

The horns tend to get full of mud, and also the electrical connections gets loose and corroded. More so if the tires are worn?? Know someone who went to craft store and bought copper screening and made a guard.

 

Ok i will try to help not sure if i can but,mine stopped at 1 time as well.1st check all the fuses if they are good check out the connections to the horn it self disconnect the horn itself and put a tester in the slot of horn wire and have your friend press the horn if it lites up you have power to it,so then connect it back up.Before you do this on the dash it self does the air bag stay on or does it go off after a few seconds.Let me kow on this ok!!!And where are you from maybe we are close and i can help you out!!!
