no brake lights 94 ranger
I just got this 94 ranger and there are some things I still need to fix, like the back brake lights don't some on when the pedal is pressed, there is a leak on some part of the gas tube that goes to the tank, and a few other things. The main thing that is gettin to me is how to find a manual or something that showes what each fuse is for and what could be causing the problem of the brakes.
Any help would be useful. The running lights work on it, turn signals work, reverse lights work, but no brake lights. When I checked the fuses, they all seemed to be fine. Somebody told me that the dash lights are connected to the same fuse as the brake lights and since the dash lights are working then it couldn't be the fuse.
Thanks

Go to this URL, then after it loads scroll down near the bottom and find 1994 Ranger body wiring and click on the diagram. I think this is what you are looking for.

figure 27 should be the right one....but the switch thing got me out there checkin it out and I used a flathead to compress the spring on the switch, and bamm! I saw the breaks come on. Don't know if all three came on but I did see some light. So now why would the spring be sticking. I need maybe some wd-40 or maybe just replace that switch.

Replace the switch, never use WD-40 around a truck, it is a dirt magnet and will make anything ware out fast.
If you have rusty bolts then use PB Blaster on them.
