Fuel Rail Inlet vs Return on 87 EFI 5.0L...HELP!

Hey, so I bought this truck that has the 87-93 EFI on a 5.0L and it has some issues... Can sombody who has this engine in a truck please verify which side is the IN on the fuel rail and which side is the return? PLEASE!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can't remember which is which, but I do know that the FPR is after the injectors.

What kind of problems are you having?

After the injectors meaning that the fuel comes into the rails, and the injectors, then goes through the FPR on the way out? Are you sure?

If that's how it is supposed to be, then mine is correct, but I remember it being different on the Mustang 5.0L.

The return and feed lines have different size fittings, so it's not possible to get them backwards.

Yeah, that's what I thought...however, my return line fitting has been cut off, and I test fit the remaining fitting on both sides and it fits snug on both. The rail looks exactly the same on both sides.

The outlet is the side coming immediately from the fuel pressure regulator.
