problem with 95 f250

I have a 1995 f250 with the 5.8 in it when you let it run for awhile it bogs down and almost chokes itself out then it kicks back up to normal idle, also when your driving at any constant speed and try to accelerate it just stays at that speed wont accelerate at all or will start dropping in speed i pulled the codes and it is saying it has a problem in cylinder 1 any ideas on what this could be?

While you do that, change the distributor cap and the rotor. Trust me. Most people look right over those two items yet they are two of the most important things. Its not hard to change either.
