Cushioned Ball Mount
A nice product I've used over the past 6 years, towng in the Blue Ridge Mountains, over less than smooth roads. It'll round off those jerks, jars & bangs to the tow vehicles drive line & smooth out your tow. For a cut away view & pictures of many different models & drops, check out Convert-A-*****, Cushioned Ball Mounts at Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2-1/2" Hitches - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 18,000 lbs Convert-A-Ball Trailer Hitch Ball Mount AMSCV-2 (etrailer.com) If you tow, give one a try, you'll likely be as pleased as I & your drive line will love you for it LOL!!!! I bought mine @ Nothern Tool in 99 for about $45.

Bump: New page link for the cushioned ball mount:
Cushioned Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3/4" Rise - 2" Drop - 10,000 lbs Convert-A-Ball Ball Mounts AMSC2
Mine is over 10 years old now, tow with it regularly during fishing season, March-Dec, 60 miles round trip over & through the Blue Ridge Mtns in Va & it's holding up well, still really rounds off the jerks & jars of towing, your drive line will appreciate that!!!!
