Cushioned Ball mounts

Any body ever use the cushioned ball mounts for towing with your reciever hitch. I wonder if they are alot better than just solid mounts. I'm towing 5000# TT. Thanks for the imput.

Never heard of them. I always like everything to be solid and tight when I tow.

I use one. It took all the jerk away when I take off and some of the jerking when on read rough roads. It took about four trips to "break in" though.
