motorcraft back at wal-mart??

I haven't been in wal-mart since they stopped selling motorcraft products until today, walk back in and a whole big wall full of motorcraft stuff. I bought every 7.3 filter they had in the place, just in case it was a fluke. Anyplace else have motorcraft at wal-mart??

I haven't checked lately. Try to avoid that place, unless the wife suckers me into shopping with her by dangling the "we can stop at a casino" carrot. Four malls later, I'm driving home with a powerful thirst for beer. The next time I get suckered to walmart, I will take a look. I am due for some dieselkleen anyway.

only reason I went in was because of the motorcraft filters, I wasn't too happy about being bent over at the FORD dealership, where FORD vehicles were sold.

I just picked up 4 more Motorcraft filters at Walmart in Summerville. Funny though as they had lots of the FL1995 for my engine oil but didn't have any FL1A that I use for the tranny filter. My wife asked why I got so many and I told her that this is the first that I have seen any Motorcraft filters in a WalMart in a while and explained that they had stopped handling them. It will be nice if they have started handling them again.

Does this mean that I have to go back to Wal-Mart? Sure love the prices on filters there, and my stockpile is out, but MAN, I hate going in there.

More discussion on the topic here.

Man, I can't wait to get some of the good 15w40 MC oil back in my PSD!

I wasn't trying to turn people away from the site sponsors, as far as I knew they didn't carry motorcraft. Only reason I put it up is because I know a majority of the posters use only motorcraft filters, like myself. Close the thread, send more ridiculous emails, ban me, whatever.

no problem man, i was curious about your thread because my wally world doesn't have motorcraft... i think steve was just pointing out another place to get good filters cheap and it just happens that fleetfilter.com is a sponser, (mostly because a bunch of us here told them they should look into doing that). What anyone puts for filters on their truck is their choice, it's just nice to come in here and find out about the different choices i have as a psd owner whether the suppliers are sponsers or not makes no difference. i choose to support our sponsers when i can, but that doesn't mean everybody else has to.... keep posting threads man... knowledge is power and you might know about something that i don't...!

well I have got a butt chewing from an admin/owner for saying diablosport would give technical advice on used products on ebay(they will, call them up), because ebay wasn't a site sponsor, things get blown out of proportion here pretty badly. I didn't post here for a long while on account of it. Like most, I will support a site sponsor when I can.

I never said anything about eBay not being a site sponsor. That's a blatant mischaracterization.

What I said is Diablosport does not provide product support for auction sales, that includes warranty coverage. You buy something in an auction, you have no warranty. We had some guy call the shop two days ago asking for support for a dead Predator he bought from someone on eBay --- Diablo told him they wouldn't warrant it so he was shopping around for dealers to see if anyone would replace it. He was out of luck (MotorHaven won't cover another dealer's sales, especially auction sales) and now has to use eBay's dispute resolution... he's in for a big headache.

Update to my WallyWorld rantings....I just ordered the 6637 along with a couple of oil filters and a fuel filter from Fleetfilter. Got 'em all for $60 including shipping! Thanks Brian. Thanks to the guys on this site too. To say thanks, I just kicked in for a year membership to this site. Figure I've saved the $16 just from the info I've picked up here so it's a cheap way to keep the site alive and support those that have helped me.

Easy now big guy!
I didn't say you were turning ppl away from sponsors now did I?
I know that wix makes filters for many of the major brands, possibly motorcraft too?
Plus with the inavailibility of the motorcraft in places other than your local store, fleetfilter is an excellent alternative. Wally Worl doesn't have motorcraft in the two store 'round here, never have.
