GOOD LUCK! we all want those, but nobody makes aftermarket ones, and they were a rare option for 96 models only. IF you happen to run across some i wpuldn't tell any of us until they are safely in your posession. And then fasten them to your truck very securly, because iv'e heard of people stealing them off other people's trucks. Good luck, but i've been looking for about a year with no luck.

yup i've been looking myself for those ... i also have a '96 bronco and have emailed half a dozen people that advertise them for sale on some of the online auction houses...

i DID read somewhere where it was actually listed as an option... but a google search of that option turned up NOTHING !!!!!!!!!

problem is that there are lots of after market lighted side mirrors for ford, but those are for the mirrors that mount in the corner of the door glass and the newer broncos mount ON the door....

i'm buying if anyone is selling !!!!!!!!!!!!

i was told by the local salvage yards that the lighted turn signal mirror have some kind of problem with the glass breaking ...

they were able to locate 4-5 mirrors with the signal flash but all had no glass....

ugh

Blinking mirrors are not on my 96 either. Even though when geting the run down from the dealer back in Nov. 1995- I specifically remember him telling me two things (guess I was young, dumb and excited 10 years ago) First -the Bronco has a "super cooler for the transmission"- super cooler, hmm. Secondly, "these here mirrors have turn signals built in for people bedind you to see, what you say we walt to the showroom and get you set of floor mats for her?" What he should have said is, "let's walk over to the showroom and get you this here hard to come by retractable cargo cover cause you gonna be wantin one when you figure out in a few years what the heck those funny tracks are in the back of your rig."

The 96 EB I bought new had them from the factory. They were a pretty neat thing to have as not many other vehicles had them at the time. I haven't seen any other Broncos in my neck of the woods that have them.

does anyone know what the switch from a powered non flash mirror to a powered flashing mirror would entail ?

i would guess just plug it into the socket that the original mirror is plugged into, but i could be (and usually am) wrong
