Michelin Brake Dust Repellent

Michelin Brake Dust Repellent
There was a post on this a month or two ago, I cannot find it.
I want to report my results with this stuff.
I have now used it 3 times over 3 weeks. Honestly, I see no visual difference though it is much easier to clean the rims now.
I started using Michelin's Tire Cleaner and Tire Shine, both of which are environmentally 'safer' than most products, at the same time. I do like these 2 products. Not sure I will keep using the dust repellent though.
My neighbor tried it too, he has a 04 Lincoln Navigator with the chrome looking rims. He swears the stuff is helping him.

all you guys keep trying different solutions for the brake dust. The solution is very simple, change out the front pads with a decent aftermarket set. No wheel shields to mess with, no more buying extra cleaning products to clean the wheels, etc. New pads (at least the Porterfield pads I bought) will eliminate the dust! And pads are so easy to change on your own, you just need a wrench and a c-clamp.

If you are asking me about which pads, they are the Porterfield R4-S carbon kevlar pads. They have been talked about on this forum alot in the past, do a search for Porterfield. I bought mine on ebay for around $90 shipped. After 10k miles, they are still dust free and have plenty of pad left, with no damage to my rotors either.

As to the Porterfield pads, when I change my brakes, probably at 36,001 miles, I think they are the way to go. Good company, good pads.
But while I hope to never have that mysterious 'to the floor, Alice' brake problem, I think I will let Ford assume all my brake liability.
Just a thought.
