coming home from work today truck dies. i was getting on the e-way at 3/4 throttle and engine just quite. no spitting, no sputtering engine just died. got to the side of road and tried to restart engine . engine turns over but will not start. could it be a bad cam sensor? any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thats what it sounds like. If you can check for codes it would help.

 

i,m still wating for the truck to be towed home. i do have a predator programer what codes will it show if it is a cam sensor?

When my cps went out, I tried to restart nothing and after a few minutes she finally started. The tack most of the time won't show RPM if it's the cps. Ebay has them for around 60 smacks.
