Desktop dyno my 390?
I was hoping someone would be kind enough to desktop dyno the 390 I am building?
390 bored .030 over
Comp Cams 268 (grind number FB 268H-10)
Flat top pistons
Fel-Pro head gasket
Edelbrock Performer RPM 428 CJ heads (EDL-60069)
'63 2V stock intake and Autolite 2100 carb.
Have not aquired 4V intake yet, but possibilities are:
'63 4V stock intake
Edelbrock Performer RPM 4V
Both intakes above would use a Holley 600 cfm vacuum secondary carb.... unless the desktop dyno recomends bigger.
Thanks!

With the stock intake, carb, and exhaust manifolds, my Desktop Dyno is showing 250hp @ 4500rpm, and 372ft-lbs @ 3000rpm.
With a 4 barrel intake and 600cfm carb, you can knock that up to 304hp @ 4500rpm, and 400ft-lbs @ 3000rpm. Add headers, and you're up to 359hp @ 5000rpm, and 442ft-lbs @ 4500rpm.
The 600cfm carb will work just fine on there. The stock carb is definately too small.
