Desktop dyno my 390?

I was hoping someone would be kind enough to desktop dyno the 390 I am building?

390 bored .030 over
Comp Cams 268 (grind number FB 268H-10)
Flat top pistons
Fel-Pro head gasket
Edelbrock Performer RPM 428 CJ heads (EDL-60069)
'63 2V stock intake and Autolite 2100 carb.

Have not aquired 4V intake yet, but possibilities are:
'63 4V stock intake
Edelbrock Performer RPM 4V

Both intakes above would use a Holley 600 cfm vacuum secondary carb.... unless the desktop dyno recomends bigger.

Thanks!

I need to know your exhaust. headers or manifold and mufflers or not. Do you know your approx compression ratio? the 600cfm may be small but i will check it out, nevermind it is too small.

oops..

2 inch duals, '63 car manifolds , not sure on compression ratio.. would guess between 9.5:1 or 10.5:1.. most likely 10.5.. if the carb is too small, let me know which one I should be using if you can.

Thanks

With the stock intake, carb, and exhaust manifolds, my Desktop Dyno is showing 250hp @ 4500rpm, and 372ft-lbs @ 3000rpm.

With a 4 barrel intake and 600cfm carb, you can knock that up to 304hp @ 4500rpm, and 400ft-lbs @ 3000rpm. Add headers, and you're up to 359hp @ 5000rpm, and 442ft-lbs @ 4500rpm.

The 600cfm carb will work just fine on there. The stock carb is definately too small.

your current setup,
287hp at 4500, 389tq at 3500

rpm intake and 600cfm carb
374hp at 5000, 438tq at 3500

If have a great start with the rpm heads, get the rpm intake, some headers, and say a 750 carb and you will have a real nice hotrod.
