Just where is this contraption on a 90 F150 supercab, front and rear tank??? My front tank won't take gas very fast without kicking the pump off. I've looked for this, but only see the filler hose/tube. Que Paso??

 

On my 90 F-150, the front tank vent comes out just back of the fuel pump and then ties in with the line from the back tank, then runs all the way up to the engine, and into the charcoal canister. I think the char. can is supposed to filter the fumes and feed them back into the engine. Also, mine doesn't take gas very well either, especially the front tank, and I think it has alot to do with the way the filler hose is run. It doesn't have much slope to it.

Each tank has its own vent hose ...It should run alongside the fill tube . Its 1/2 dia rubber hose . Sometimes they get kinked and wont allow the air out of the tank as fast as the fuel gets put in .
