I know this sounds crazy (I've been called worse) but my AM reception has been horrible that last few months- Static seemed to "cycle" through about 10-12 second increments and it got progressively worse. I know, who cares about AM radio (except utahtom) but hey, I really enjoy listening to Jim Rome and a few other shows while I drive around. I thought it was related to the fact that I am usually 50 miles from Salt Lake City and the reception always got better as I drove closer to the city-

Earlier this week, my truck was surging at idle when I was close by the Dealer- The Tech (who was great!) promptly determined the ICP was bad and replaced it. Ironically, now my AM radio reception is crystal clear
Stranger things could happen...

 

That is great when stuff like this happens

 

if u have the lighted mirrors, the passenger side leds interfere with the am radio when the lights are on. ford will fix it if u have that problem and want it fixed, but they wont mention it unless u have a complaint....... just a little side thought
