Reverse eye mono leaf springs education

Reverse eye mono leaf springs education
I need to know more about the reverse eye mono leaf springs. I understand how the reverse eye helps lower the stance, but how much? Are there different levels of arch available like on lifted 4x4s? What is the advantage of a mono leaf as opposed to a multi leaf spring pack. I've heard about people using the reverse eye mono leaf springsall around, but I am doing a spring under conversion which will net me around 6." I don't think I want to go any lower than that, but I'm interested in hearing about others that have done both the reverse eye and spring under. Finally, where do you get them from? Are they off the shelf or custom made? If custom made, what do you tell them.
BTW, it's for a '61 shortbed.

I would use standard springs first. If that is not enough have the main leaf re arched to reverse the eye and remove a couple secondary leafs to get where you want to be. www.eatonsprings.com will help!
