I called the Louisville Truck plant. THe machine states that due to security reasons they no longer give personal, private or educational tours at the plant. Well what is can we think of to do. MArch is coming up. I would like to try and swing a m&g again that month. Post some ideas and thoughts.
you put up your $200 and I put up mine. I am still debating going right now. If I can swing some more overtime between now and then I will probably go. If not I'm still going to senior night.
I don't see the money thing happening this year. BUT we could start planning for next years. I'm also planning on next years Daytona 500. Gotta start saving some of that money I'm making
one of the members in the ohio chapter suggested going to the truck race in July at Kentucky Speedway. Does this appeal to anyone. I for one am thinking about going. I might have about 6-7 people in my group. What about you and yours?
I would like to go to the Truck race, but last time we went to the NKY Speedway, we sat in traffic for 3 hours after the race. I am not sure that I want to waste that much time again... Have they gotten any of the traffic problems solved in the last couple of years?
I believe they have. Did they have the new ramp to I71 open when you were last there or was there just one?
ANyway why hurry we have a couple of canopies, some grills. We can just party after the race for a while then leave at our leisure when all the idiots are through acting like the race drivers they just saw.
Hi Guys,
I am extreamly interested in meeting up with folks from the kentucky chapter at the truck race in Nky. You guys keep me updated on how many are going well if there going and what day we are all going. that way i will have my truck ready to roll buy that date.
Hey just an idea for you all but last year they were still giving tours two days a week at the Explorer/Sport-trac/Mountainer plant in Louisville (which was a pretty good tour if I remember right), I dont know if they stopped those with the SD plant tours but it might be worth checking into.
