Cool Norfolk Ford Plant To Be Closed!!!!!

http://www.hamptonroads.tv/index.cfm...&tid=r700&fv=1

I'm dumbfounded! Thats a video link to part of tonights news broadcast. I was eating dinner when I heard this and almost choked You know Ford's hurting when they close the Norfolk Plant. . .I'm. . just shocked!

2008 man. . thats it, gone! I hope regional companies and leaders can offer some kind of incentives to get them to stay around. Worked for a few other plants. I heard on the news that it costs like $300 more per unit for vehicles coming out of the plant becuase of shipping prices. . .

I feel for all the families that will be affected by this, I really do

That's just plain wrong.....what's worse is that they'll probably open a new plant south of the border or over seas.....I feel bad for all those workers too....
I just went to WDBJ7 website and read the story....2400 people work there and another 400 in Tidewater will be affected....this is not good news....
Question is where will production of the F150 goto??

probably to other plants. Last I had checked the F-150 sales are falling, so they don't need to produce as many of them. . .yet. probably move production to any plant thats closest to the supply line.

I heard one of the reason they targeted the Norfolk plant over the others is they can not make the super duty pickups here. It is defenitely bad for all the people who rely on the plant for their living, and I feel for them.
