trip to Florida

I just wanted to let you guys know i just returned from a trip from CT. to Florida. I left with 1500 miles and now have 4000. I was not that impressed with this truck before left. I will always buy a Ford truck, i have had a 78,86,93, and 04 (all 250's) ANYWAY..... i fell in love with this thing, it rides like a caddy. Maybe i am nuts, but it seemed to have picked up some power along the way, as to say thanks for choosing me. I will start thinking of some add ons now, as before i was not even considering any. have a good day! Tony

Gotta agree

I travel for a living and I got my truck 2 months ago. I now look forward to going on the road. I had a 98 xlt and now have a 04 lariat. This truck does ride like a caddy in my opinion. I'm glad tou like your truck. Enjoy!

I also had a F250 and now have a Fx4. Just got back from Florida and the ride in this truck is great. I dont know how you could make this truck ride any better.

Glad you are so happy with the truck Tony. Yes, it is quite possible that the truck gained more power along the trip. The true break-in period is the first 5k miles or so. Ill throw my two cents in here performance wise. You should look into a handheld tuner (Superchips or Diablo....I have a Superchips). Talk about waking that vehicle up! Id also suggest a quality catback setup. There are many out there, and it all comes down to what kind of note you want at the tailpipe, and how much/if any interior resonance you can deal with. I am partial to Gibson and Bassani.

I dont believe this.... i was driving my truck today and i noticed at take off, i felt something. I did it several times and it seems as there is play, or some sort of slip, like 2 times. even taking off slowly. just when i thought it was perfect!!!
